State of Shock

Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

With unparalleled chart success from their 2007 release Life, Love & Lies, the award winning Vancouver based State of Shock will take to the road one last time, before returning to the studio to record their much anticipated follow up CD.  The tour begins November 21  and wraps December 20.

The last two years have brought the band 4 multi-format Top 10 singles, a #1 video at Much More Music for "Best I Ever Had" and a Top 10 video at Much More for "Too Pretty".   State of Shock now have close to 50,000 albums sold, and 160,000 single downloads, they are also the recipients of three Canadian Music Radio Awards for Best New Group or Solo Artist of the Year (Rock), Best New Group or Solo Artist of the Year (CHR) and Indie Award for Favourite Single of the Year.  That single, "Money Honey", now certified double platinum, helped earn them a Juno nomination in 2008 for Best New Group.   Closer to home State of Shock have also been the recipient of the Western Canadian Music Award for "Outstanding Rock Recording".

A hard working band with a passion for their music, the fans and the stage, State of Shock begin their tour in Vancouver, taking part in a charity event for the Michael Cuccione Foundation at the Red Robinson Theatre.  The concert is in aid of raising funds to help fight childhood cancer.  Michael Cuccione, lost his life to the disease at 16.
